Fishing the most fertile inshore grounds on the East Coast, we specialize in light tackle, fast-action fun for all levels. We educate - giving tips on technique, tackle and fish behavior and habitat. Family fun, boys trips, girls day out, corporate trips, we have it all. Our boats are ideal for 2-3 adults OR 2 adults and 2-3 kids. The fishing is fun and the area is beautiful. We have the Chesapeake Bay and many of its prime tributaries right on our doorstep, giving us multiple options to optimize for tide and wind conditions when hunting for fish.
What We Catch
Rockfish - The East Coast's premier sport fish. In early spring we target trophy fish that migrate into the bay to spawn. Our focus is safe practice catch and release as the big females are the future of our fishery. Late spring through the summer months we fish on structure, shallows and exciting surface blitzes for resident Rockfish. The fall is great fishing with cooler temperatures, the fish are fattening up for winter and very hungry. Nothing wrong with taking a fish home for dinner or to a local restaurant where we have an arrangement to cook the catch right from the boat.
Bluefish - These ferocious feeders show up in mid summer, with blistering runs, they are very exciting on light tackle and are great on the smoker - We can provide fish smoking service and ship to your home.
Speckled Trout - We get these beautiful ambush feeders in the summer months is the shallow bays, a great fight and taste good too.
Spanish Mackerel - These toothy speedsters make an appearance in late summer in the middle Chesapeake. With blistering runs and real opportunities for a trophy sized fish on light tackle.
Red Drum/Cobia - When the Bull Reds show up in August I will run Full Day trips to target these hard fighting trophy fish, truly an awesome experience right here in the Chesapeake Bay
Chain Pickerel - We target these shallow water ambush feeders up the rivers in the colder months.
Also: Puppy Drum, White Perch, Stingrays, Croaker and Weakfish.
About the trip and Rates
Your Safety is our priority! Our Captains are very experienced, licensed and insured. We use 23' center console boats with all USCG safety equipment. Each boat is equipped with premier electronics that give us the best options for stalking the fish.
Our boats are ideal for 2-3 Adults or 2 Adults and 2-3 kids.

Our boats don't have a toilet but we have facilities in the marina and are never very far away from somewhere to pop in and use a restroom.

Setting up for the perfect cast to a Rockfish in skinny water, stalking Bull Reds in summer or chasing blitzing schools of feeding Rockfish in the Fall Capt.
